Living History Workshop for Youth

Dripping Springs Natural Area at Organ Mountains – Desert Peaks National Monument
Youth aged 9 to 15 who want to travel back in time to the late 1800’s and experience life in New Mexico at the turn of the century are invited to join us for a day of historical fun!
- Travel back in time to New Mexico in 1880
- Participate in Improvisation Games
- Become an actor for the day
- Interact with others as your character in a Time Travel Performance
9:30 to noon – Learn about Living History, play some improv games, develop your historical character
Noon to 12:30 – Bring your own sack lunch
12:30 – 2:30 – Become your character, get costumed, and practice with fellow classmates
2:30 – 3:30 – Time Travel Performance – invite your family!
Pre-registration is REQUIRED. Fee for the day: $10 per registered child.Register Now
