Join the Sierra Club on an Earth Day hike.
BLM archeologist , Garrett, will lead a hike to La Cueva. Meet us at the Group Site/Picnic Pavillion of La Cueva. Garrett will begin the hike at Arroyo Trailhead, next to the water tap and the bathrooms.
The hike will be on established trails, is about 1 1/4 miles total
distance with an elevation gain of about 200 ft.
Bring a bag lunch and enjoy a picnic at the Pavilion when you
return.
The Sierra Club will provide cookies and water.

Directions
Take Dripping Springs Road toward the Visitor Center. Watch for
a turnoff to the LEFT about 1.7 miles PAST the Baylor Canyon
turnoff. There is a small brown BLM sign which marks the turnoff.
Proceed slowly. Fee stop ahead. I Follow the Loop past the individual
picnic sites, and you will come to the Group/Pavilion site on your
right.
