The event is free and open to the public. \n \n\nRio Grande WAVES hope is that “Requiem” will prompt a community conversation about how precious water resources in this basin are managed\, as the state seeks public input on a roadmap for a revitalized regional water planning process across New Mexico. The New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission is hosting community work sessions pursuant to the 2023 Water Security Planning Act\, and the Las Cruces session\, known as a Regional Water Plan Open House\, is expected to occur July 24\, with an online feedback option available for those who can’t make it in person.\nFor more information\, email riograndewaves@gmail.com.
