NMSU Museum to Present Wildlife of the Organ Mountains
On December 10, 2016, the public is invited to a special wildlife presentation by the New Mexico State University (NMSU) Wildlife Museum at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Dripping Springs Natural Area Visitor Center, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Visitor Center is located off University Drive – east to Dripping Springs Road in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The presentation will include museum specimens which will provide the public with a unique experience of the common and uncommon wildlife species found in the Organ Mountains and Chihuahuan Desert ecosystem. The NMSU Museum presentation is free to the public. However, the BLM permit fee of $5 per vehicle to enter the Dripping Springs Natural Area will apply.
