Haley Clifford

Board Member

Hayley has been working as a court reporter since 2009, a career that she loves because it challenges her and allows her a lot of free time to spend outdoors. She is also a BICP Level 1 mountain bike instructor, a certification she received in order to help increase female ridership in Las Cruces through leading skills clinics, beginner rides, and bikepacking Q&As. On the trails in OMDP is where she found her community and discovered her passion for mountain biking. Hayley believes that access to the outdoors is intrinsic to the wellness and health of a community. That is why she feels proud to be on the board of FOMDP, which is ensuring this access through good stewardship, conservation, and advocacy. Hayley currently holds the women’s FKT (fastest known time) on the Monumental Loop, a 353-mile bikepacking route that weaves its way through all the sections of the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument.
