Kyla was originally from the Philippines but has spent more than half of her life in Southern New Mexico. She believes that public lands have a role in making others understand the importance the environment is in their lives. Learning is one of her biggest motivators and spends her free time reading and listening to podcasts. Kyla recently graduated from NMSU and is excited to be working with the community, and to connect more people with the outdoors.
