Patrick Nolan has called Las Cruces, New Mexico home for 13 years. He was born in Detroit MI and attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Growing up in Michigan offered Patrick lots of time to get outdoors. He enjoyed riding horses, canoeing down the Au Sable River and swimming the many great lakes. While the desert is certainly much different then where he grew up, time outdoors continues to be a favorite activity. He especially enjoys time outdoors with his daughter Eva and wife Johana. They enjoy hikes with their dogs Jackson and Santo and floating down the Rio Grande with family and friends. His favorite places in the monument changes often, but Achenbach and Valles Canyon will always be favorites of his. Patrick is firmly committed to maintaining and celebrating the public lands legacy we have in New Mexico. He believes that connecting our community to public lands is the most important thing we can do to both celebrate and protect them. Patrick is committed to a vision and work that ensures we all have equal access to our amazing desert landscapes.
