Youth Conservation Core Trail Project

Youth Conservation Core completed trail work at La Cueva on June 22 as part of the Monumental Trails Program with Southern New Mexico Trail Alliance and the Friends.

Crew members learned basic trail maintenance skills,  learned about the Organ Mountains – Desert Peaks National Monument and how the public can get involved in taking care of our public lands. They also cleared a popular and overgrown section of the Arroyo trail and La Cueva trail for visitors to enjoy.  Thank you to YCC and SWEC for bringing the crew out to Dripping Springs to care for our Monumental Trails.
