Join Jim Enright for this moderate hike of about 3 miles, which will take roughly 2.5 hours. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the area’s history and plant life. The route follows a maintained trail leading uphill to the Simmers Homestead before looping back. The path is somewhat rocky with loose stones, so wearing supportive footwear such as boots is recommended. Make sure to take plenty of water, snacks, and sun protection. Please note that there are no bathrooms or water available at the beginning or along the hike.
