The Friends of Organ Mountains Desert Peaks and Cruceno Cleanup teamed up, on October 22nd, for Trash Talkin Thursdays to pick up litter and illegal dumping at the Sierra Vista Trailhead.  Ten volunteers attended and after one hour collected 7 bags of trash and a bowling ball. Thanks to everyone making our public lands a cleaner place to visit.

Cruceno Cleanup is a volunteer group working to keep our community litter free.  Their Facebook page states “We’re just an awesome group of people that want to keep Las Cruces clean and beautiful.
