Celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument with us!
Since the proclamation of the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, our community in Southern New Mexico has transformed in a multitude of ways. One of those changes is our organization shifting focus from advocacy for a designation to ensuring our community has access to the public lands we work so hard to protect.
Our Moving Montañas continues to grow and improve, which makes sure our local youth not only have opportunities to recreate on our monument, but also helping them learn and form positive connections to their Chihuahuan Desert Environment. For this 10th Anniversary, we not only want to celebrate how far our community has come since the OMDP designation, but also acknowledge what’s ahead!
